Holistic culinary delights
Among her many fitness and health-oriented talents, Melanie is also a first-class holistic chef. Her delicious creations are chock full of nutrition. She makes everything from scratch using mostly local, seasonal, farm-fresh ingredients and goes to great lengths to source only the best. The same loving attention is devoted to every detail in her cooking from beginning to end. Her dishes are mainly plant-based whole foods and present a symphony of flavors, colours and textures. Légumes, grains, nuts and seeds are soaked and sprouted which makes them enzyme-rich and easily digestible. My husband and I feasted on her ratatouille provençale, shepherds pie and apple dessert baked to perfection, filled with walnuts and topped with a drizzle of maple syrup. Whatever Melanie creates is energizing, health-enhancing and mouthwateringly delicious, a real treat for the eyes, the taste buds and the soul.
